Pro. Nakai and Dr. Pulido Joined XV Peruvian Geological Congress at Cusco in Peru.
More than three hundred papers were published at this conference from many countries.
Prof. Nakai presented the scope of the work and the outline of this project with the preliminary results of the field survey for soil profiles at Lima.
Many researchers showed the interests by asking the questions about the expected damage distributions at City of Lima.
Dr. Pulido presented the selection of scenario earthquakes in Peru, and strong motion estimate by fault modeling for Pisco Earthquake.
Many audience asked questions about the earthquake scenario and ground motion characteristics in Lima.
During the conference, Prof. Nakai and Dr. Pulido had the interviews by Magazine 'ProActivo' and 'Miner Andina Comunicaciones', respectively about the seismic hazard and damage distribution at City of Lima.
