Overview:
Pro. Nakai and Dr. Pulido Joined XV Peruvian Geological Congress at Cusco in Peru.
More than three hundred papers were published at the conference from many countries.
Prof. Nakai presented the scope of the work and the outline of this project with the preliminary results of the field survey at City of Lima.
Many researchers showed the interests and asked many questions about the expected damage distributions at Lima City.
Dr. Pulido presented the selection of the scenario earthquake in Peru, and the strong motion estimate based on the fault modeling of Pisco Earthquake.
Active discussion was held about the earthquake scenario and ground motion characteristics at City of Lima.
During the conference, Prof. Nakai and Dr. Pulido had the interviews by Magazine of 'ProActivo' and 'Miner Andina Comunicaciones', respectively about the seismic hazard and damage distribution at City of Lima.
