Mid-term project review in Lima

Overview:
Two and half years have passed since the startup of the JST-JICA Peru project.
In this occasion, the mid-term project review was conducted in Lima, Peru following the project evaluation procedure of JICA.
The evaluation team, consisting of JICA headquarters members and JST observers,
interviewed Peruvian stakeholders and judged that the progress of the project as on schedule.
After the review activities, the 25th Anniversary Symposium of CISMID was held on 17th and 18th of August, 2012.
On 18th August, Japanese and Peruvian researches visited Public Awareness Center of INDECI in Arequipa.
Then the group moved to Tacna to attend the first Peru-Chile-Japan Trilateral Symposium on Earthquake and tsunami Disaster Mitigation.
