Overview:
Prof. Nakai had a presentation at the international symposium of "Advancements in Earthquake Engineering, Prevention and Disaster Mitigation" with the invitation of Tacna conference organization committee.
The title of the presentation was "A Role of Surface Ground Irreguralities in Earthquake Hazard Evaluation" describing the relationships between subsurface soil structures and dynamic responses of the ground.
The presentation was delivered by joining the conference via internet. Other Peruvian researchers, such as Dr. Aguilar, Dr. Tavera, Dr. Estrada, and Prof. Kuroiwa, also joined the conference to have technical presentations about earthquake engineering and disaster mitigation in Peru.
