Earthquake Observation and Dynamic Response
Analysis of Soil-structure Systems
Earthquake observation systems were deployed at various soil-structure systems in Japan and Taiwan and actual seismic records were obtained as well as microtremor records. Earthquake response analyses were carried out for these actual and model structures. The accuracy of the numerical methods is being investigated and system identification was conducted for a large-scale building.
