Overview:
Director Takashima in JICA comes to CISMID on March 21th, 2011. He had a meeting with Vice President Martinez, Dean Pique, and Dr. Zavala to exchange the opinions.
Mr. Martinez expressed a sympathy for the disaster at Tohoku Earthquake and acknowledged all the support from Japan to CISMID. Mr.
Takashima explained the meaning of CISMID for earthquake disaster mitigation with the support by Japan, and expected the further development in a future.
The progress of the project was reported and the facility in CISMID was explained to Mr. Takashima.
On March 18th, Peruvian government flied a flag at half-mast to express the sympathy for Tohoku Earthquake in Japan.
